[korea food] Back Rib Teriyaki Pork back ribs with delicious teriyaki sauce

Hello, lovers of delicious food! Today I'm going to talk about back rib teriyaki. Back rib teriyaki is a harmonious combination of soft and melting back ribs and sweet and spicy teriyaki sauce. When you take a bite, the rich taste and aroma spreads in your mouth.

Back galbi is one of the most loved meats in Korea, and it is a favorite menu for many people because it is low in fat and has a soft texture. Teriyaki sauce is derived from the Japanese dish yakiniku, and is a sweet and spicy sauce made with soy sauce, sugar, and various seasonings. The harmonious combination of these two adds a unique savory taste to back ribs, and the sweet and spicy taste of the sauce harmonizes with the meat to create a fantastic taste.

Now, I will introduce various recipes along with the process of making back rib teriyaki. It is a dish that can be easily made at home and can be enjoyed even more deliciously when eaten with family and friends.

Cooking Ingredient

Pork back ribs 1.5 kg

1 Tbsp vegetable oil (= 15ml)

Low salt soy sauce 1/4 C (= 60ml)

3 Tbsp brown sugar (brown sugar is fine too)

Mirin 2 Tbsp (= 30ml)

Apple cider vinegar (or rice vinegar if not available) 3 Tbsp (=45ml)

2 tsp grated garlic (= 10ml)

1 stalk of green onion

Broccoli Clusters 4 C (or as much as you like) - Steam for 2-3 minutes, until cooked through but not overcooked.

Optional: 1 Tbsp sesame oil

The pork back ribs are first baked in the oven, but if you do not want to use the oven or want to make them faster, you can slice the back ribs one by one, fry them in a pan, and then mix them with the sauce.

1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees (about 220 degrees Celsius).

2. Put water in a 1-inch (2.5 cm) pan in a roasting pan, put a rack on top of it, and put pork ribs (pork ribs) on top.

3. Cover with cooking foil (steaming effect) and bake for 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours. Just put it in the oven and forget about it.

When I see pork without fat, I feel really good ^^

At this rate, the meat just falls off the bone by itself.

Cut the meat into pieces one by one.

4. While the meat is grilling, mix soy sauce, sugar, mirin, and apple cider vinegar (or rice vinegar) in a small bowl.

5. Grease a pan (or wok) and stir-fry the minced garlic, then add the prepared sauce and boil it when the fragrance rises.

6. Add the cut pork back ribs and toss to coat the sauce well, then simmer over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until the sauce is moderately reduced.

7. Add lightly steamed broccoli clusters and mix well. (Or, like me, you can use the entire stem of broccolini. We love broccolini so much. Oh, and we love broccoli too, of course), and let sit on the fire for another 1-2 minutes.

This completes the back ribs coated with teriyaki sauce.

I think meat in teriyaki sauce goes best with rice.

Make it delicious!
