[Korea travel] Places of interest near Jeju Airport

Today, I would like to introduce an attractive place near Jeju International Airport for those visiting Jeju

Jeju International Airport is the starting and ending point of your trip to Jeju Island. There are convenient transportation and places to enjoy various activities around the airport, so you can have a good time as soon as you arrive in Jeju.

# Arario Museum Tapdong Cinema

Arario Museum Tapdong Cinema is a place where an empty movie theater building has been transformed into an art museum. There are three Arario Museums in Tap-dong. There are Arario Museum Dongmun Motel I and II, made from recycled motel buildings. Since the three locations are close to each other, we recommend taking a look around them all if you have the time.

You can scan the QR code, listen to the free audio guide, and listen to the artwork commentary. From works by famous artists such as Nam June Paik, Keith Haring, and Andy Warhol, large-scale works using a large space are also displayed. On the 5th floor, Sea Kim's solo exhibition is also on display. The exhibition extends to the elevator and the hiding place. How about spending an artistic time appreciating contemporary art works?

# ABC A Factory Bakery CafĂ©

These days, I do a lot of bread pilgrimages in Jeju Island. ABC A Factory Bakery Cafe, which sells vegan bakeries including regular bakeries, is located in Tap-dong. There is a bakery on the first floor and a cafe building on the upper floor. The palm trees and white buildings seen from the second floor give you the feeling of being on an overseas trip. It has a clean and modern interior space and delicious bread. If you are looking for a place to visit near Jeju Airport, I would recommend it.

# D&D part

Have you been wondering where Jeju's hottest D-certified photos are taken these days? This is Tapdong D&D Part. D & D Part consists of restaurants, shops, and accommodations. The accommodation is decorated as a space where you can experience Jeju's long life design.

Even if you are not staying overnight, you can visit the restaurant on the 1st floor and the showroom on the 2nd floor. Shops and restaurants are places to discover and introduce products with long-life design values. Introducing items and food using ingredients from Jeju. The restaurant's ingredients and seasonings, as well as tea and liquor, are grown and produced in Jeju, giving it a special feel. In the shop, you could see modern and Jeju-style products such as barangs and dyeing products made of Jeju stones and bamboo. If you are tired of Jeju Island souvenirs that you can see everywhere, why not try the most Jeju-style long life design products at D&D Partment?

# Sot Sot Ri Bus

When I look at Sot Sot Ribus, a brand comes to mind. Kolon Sports, a symbol of a forest of trees. Sot Sot Ri Bus is a project that conveys Kolon Sports' concerns about sustainability through space and products. It is said that the soaring Kolon symbol is interpreted in Korean. This place is full of upcycling products that were created by collecting stock that was out of reach of customers. Not only are the products upcycled, but the Styrofoam under the table is also said to be made using Jeju sea waste.

If you want to pass the time before going to the airport, we recommend Retable on the 2nd floor. DIY to make keyrings is always in progress, and a program to make eco bags through My Real Trip is also in progress. While traveling in Jeju, anyone would think that this beautiful nature would be well preserved. By visiting Sot Sot Ri Bus, I was able to meet and experience upcycling products and have time to think about the environment again.
