# A delicious street in Itaewon!
The 'Itaewon Special Tourist Zone' connects Itaewon and Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. There are over 1000 restaurants there. In Itaewon, you can take a day trip or a 2-day overseas trip past midnight for only tens of thousands of won on a transportation card. That's why it's a place often visited by students without money or foreigners visiting Korea.
The Yongsan-gu Office selects about 300 restaurants in the Itaewon Special Tourist Zone and introduces them on the ‘Itaewon Foreign Food Map’. Among them, we picked a few restaurants worth traveling along the central road leading from Noksapyeong Station to Itaewon Station to Hangangjin Station on Subway Line 6. Your legs may hurt a little. However, a smile that spread all over the tongue that became fun. No regrets. Shall we tie up our sneakers and go to Itaewon to eat foreign food?
# Bartos
This is a Mexican restaurant whose signature menu is 'tacos' wrapped in corn crackers. It is a place that young people in Itaewon choose as a 'hot place'. The representative menu is Kimchi Carnitas Fries (12,500 won). It's the taste and aroma of Mexico sprinkled over French fries topped with kimchi. Some complain that it is addictive, making you keep reaching for it until you can see the bottom. There is also a bar in a bustling atmosphere, so it is good to hang out alone.

# Bichaena
Bichaena is said to mean 'to empty, to fill, to share'. From the interior decorated with silk, hemp, and ramie wallpaper, it is full of luxury. Most of the menus are modern reinterpretations of Korean food. Gwangjuyo’s leek and shrimp dumplings on a white porcelain spoon, grilled live mackerel on top of a bowl of rice, etc. Each menu item along the course serves as an exclamation point and even a chatterbox that clears up blocked conversations.
# Johnny Dumplings
It looks very shabby on the outside, but it is a Chinese dumpling restaurant that has opened three stores only in Itaewon. It was also ranked as the 13th most popular restaurant in the Seoul edition of the international restaurant guidebook 'Jagat' (2012). There are many drinking customers in the evening, but during the day, most of the customers are small gatherings focused on meals. There are voices of dissatisfaction that it has become unkind since it was aired on a TV mukbang program, but I can't help but go to the delicious food.
# Salam bakery
# Linus BBQ
Along with pork and beef grilled on a barbecue, potato salad, cole slaw, and mini burgers are served on a plate. Then, you can enjoy each flavor separately, and you can make your own burger by filling the mini burger with barbecue meat. 31,000 won for a plate for two. The amount is large enough for both of us to eat, probably because the amount was set according to the American standards.
# Muntaro
A yakitori restaurant where you can experience the taste of yakitori from mainland Japan. When you enter the room with a strong Japanese scent, the owner greets you loudly while grilling skewers in the middle. It is pleasant to see them assigning seats and taking orders. Instead of frozen products, they serve grilled skewers prepared daily. Special cuts such as chicken skin and aorta are also popular. You can choose between salt-grilled and seasoned-grilled.
